Access Control Officer (Grade C)

Steady 12-hour shifts at an industrial park in Bellville for PSIRA-registered officers. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at an industrial park in Bellville. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards

• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Clean criminal record

• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Provident fund contributions
• Stable long-term site contracts
