Access Control Officer (Grade C) – Experienced

Residents and staff at a private school campus in Rustenburg need to feel safe when they arrive; that is your job. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Rustenburg-based, with most of your time spent at a private school campus. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register

• Clean criminal record
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Speaks and writes basic English
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred

• First-aid Level 1 certificate
• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Stable long-term site contracts
