Job Description

This conference and events venue in Fourways wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is Fourways-based, with most of your time spent at a conference and events venue.

The work, day to day

Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.
Build quotes and proposals with correct pricing and margins.
Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.

Must-haves

Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
You close deals, not just collect meetings
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car

Helpful, not essential

Tender and CSD registration experience
Salesforce, Zoho or HubSpot CRM experience
A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
