Job Description

Recons that balance and suppliers who get paid right: that's the job at a construction contractor in Bellville. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll report in Bellville. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What your day looks like

Reconcile creditors statements and sort out differences with suppliers
Send customer statements and phone accounts that are over 60 days
Run petty cash and file slips with proper supporting documents
Prepare VAT201 workings for the accountant to submit on SARS eFiling
Post month-end journals for accruals, prepayments and depreciation

You'll need

Practical skill in Sage Pastel, Sage Business Cloud or Xero
Matric with Accounting
Good with Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables and simple formulas
Bookkeeping certificate or diploma (ICB, FASSET learnership or similar)

On offer
