From a chair in an armed response control room in Rosslyn, you guide officers in the field to where they are needed. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The work is in Rosslyn, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date
• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change
• Monitor live CCTV feeds and zoom in on suspicious movement
• Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them
• Log every event and action on the monitoring software
• Dispatch the nearest response vehicle over the radio

• Clear speaking voice on radio and phone
• Computer literate and quick on a keyboard
• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
• Matric

• Call centre work in the past
• Experience on a CCTV or alarm monitoring platform

• Shift allowance for nights
• Path to senior controller or supervisor
• Training on the monitoring software
