Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a business park in Pietermaritzburg, you are the one who arrives first. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Pietermaritzburg (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs

Must-haves

Calm under pressure and physically fit
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Extra points for

First-aid Level 2 or 3
SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
