Job Description

Clients in a suburban residential area in Roodepoort pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The site is in Roodepoort; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

The work, day to day

Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over

Must-haves

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
