Job Description

Clients in a suburban residential area in Epping pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll report in Epping. Relocation is not covered for this one. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What you'll actually do

Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates

Must-haves

Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Calm under pressure and physically fit
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
Advanced driving course
First-aid Level 2 or 3
