Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a suburban residential area in Germiston in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The site is in Germiston; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details

Must-haves

Calm under pressure and physically fit
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

Nice if you have

SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
