Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Cape Town CBD, you are the one who arrives first. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Location: Cape Town CBD, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over

You'll need

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Calm under pressure and physically fit
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
First-aid Level 2 or 3
