Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a farming district in Brits, you are the one who arrives first. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Location: Brits, North West. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren

You'll need

SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Calm under pressure and physically fit
