Job Description

Here in Pietermaritzburg, a plastic moulding plant needs steady people who can repeat a task well for eight hours. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Pietermaritzburg-based, with most of your time spent at a plastic moulding plant.

What you'll actually do

Move full bins and crates to the next station with a trolley
Stop the line with the emergency stop if anything jams or looks unsafe
Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run
Record batch codes and counts on the hourly production sheet
Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages

What you need

Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area
You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
