Job Description

A corporate training academy in Cape Town CBD needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Cape Town CBD (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports
Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments
Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification
Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings

Must-haves

Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
Own transport for training at client sites
Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults
Good report writing and record keeping
Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice if you have

Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle
Experience with QCTO occupational qualifications
Teaching qualification or Higher Certificate in adult education
