Associate Attorney (Commercial Litigation)

Take on a real caseload and build your name at a mid-sized commercial law firm in Soweto. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll report in Soweto. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Review company processes for POPIA and privacy compliance
• Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements
• Appear in the magistrate's court, CCMA, Labour Court or High Court as your matters need
• Draft and review contracts, shareholder agreements and legal opinions
• Record billable time and hit the monthly target

• Able to manage client relationships without a senior in the room
• Sound judgement under deadline pressure
• At least 2 years of post-admission experience in the relevant field
• Right of appearance in the High Court for litigation posts
