Job Description

This packaging manufacturer in Montague Gardens wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a packaging manufacturer in Montague Gardens. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What your day looks like

Work with operations to hand over new clients smoothly.
Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Build quotes and proposals with correct pricing and margins.

Must-haves

Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car

Helpful, not essential

A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
Salesforce, Zoho or HubSpot CRM experience
