Job Description

This packaging manufacturer in Pretoria East wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Pretoria East-based, with most of your time spent at a packaging manufacturer.

The work, day to day

Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Work with operations to hand over new clients smoothly.
Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.

What you need

You close deals, not just collect meetings
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM

Nice if you have

A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
Salesforce, Zoho or HubSpot CRM experience
