Job Description

Machines set the pace at this meat processing plant in Komani; you keep up and catch the faults. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Komani. Relocation is not covered for this one. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What your day looks like

Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run
Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages
Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
Pack finished product into cases and stack them by batch number
Record batch codes and counts on the hourly production sheet
Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers

What you need

You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection
Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area
Medically fit; some food plants ask for a medical check

Extra points for

Previous work in a food or FMCG factory
A food handler or basic HACCP awareness certificate
Some basic first-aid training
