Bond Registration Secretary (Bank Panel)

You'll move property transfers from signed offer to registration at a conveyancing firm in Umlazi. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

• Prepare final statements of account and pay out on registration
• Prepare deeds of transfer, powers of attorney and bond documents
• Fix Deeds Office rejection notes quickly and relodge
• Book signing appointments and explain costs to buyers and sellers
• Update agents, banks and clients on file progress on the bank portal and by email
• Request bond cancellation figures and guarantees from banks

• Admission as a conveyancer for conveyancer posts
• At least 2 years of conveyancing or bond work
• Experience on a conveyancing system such as GhostConvey, LegalSuite or AJS
• Knowledge of bank panel instruction portals and LAWtrust digital signing
• Clear, polite updates to anxious buyers and sellers

• Paid conveyancing short courses
• Normal office hours with rare weekend work
• Parking or taxi allowance for Deeds Office runs

• Mention the Deeds Office you usually lodge at, such as Pretoria or Cape Town, since practice differs slightly.
• Name the conveyancing software and bank portals you know in your first CV section.
