Steady 12-hour shifts at an office tower in Benoni for PSIRA-registered officers. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is an office tower on the Benoni side of Gauteng.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events

• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date

• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
