You'll control who comes in and out of a construction yard in Middelburg (MP), and log every visitor properly. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty

• Speaks and writes basic English

• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred

• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols
• Previous experience at a similar site type
• First-aid Level 1 certificate

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training

• Arrive for the interview in neat clothes with your certificates in a plastic sleeve. It shows the discipline they want.
