Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Atlantis, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Location: Atlantis, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.

Must-haves

Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Matric

Extra points for

A sales or marketing certificate
Existing relationships with independent retailers
