Job Description

Good service at a wine farm restaurant in Fourways starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a wine farm restaurant on the Fourways side of Gauteng.

What your day looks like

Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
Explain specials, allergens and wine pairings in plain words.
Take orders on the POS tablet and read them back to avoid kitchen mistakes.
Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.

What you need

Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
Quick with basic maths and card machines
Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays

Extra points for

Wine knowledge from a WSET Level 1 or wine farm stint
A second language such as isiZulu, isiXhosa or Afrikaans
