Bus Driver (Staff Transport, PrDP P) – Fixed-Term

You'll carry passengers safely around Kimberley for a tour and charter company, on time and by the timetable. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Kimberley. Relocation is not covered for this one. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
• Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
• Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
• Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
• Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding

• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Punctual for very early starts
• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
• Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
• Patient and friendly with passengers

• Tour coach experience with charters
• Experience on mine or staff transport routes

• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes
• Company uniform
• Paid passenger PrDP renewal

• Mention the number of passengers you have driven and the vehicle type, like "65-seater" or "22-seater midibus".
• Talk about safety records in the interview. Bus companies want to hear about zero accidents and on-time runs.
