Job Description

Passengers in Pretoria East trust a mine shift transport service to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Pretoria East, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding

What you need

At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Patient and friendly with passengers
Medically fit
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Punctual for very early starts

Extra points for

Experience on mine or staff transport routes
Tour coach experience with charters
Fluent in more than one language
