Business Studies Lecturer (Private College)

A manufacturing plant training room in George needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in George, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification
• Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners
• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better

• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Good report writing and record keeping
• Own transport for training at client sites

• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
