You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a neighbourhood supermarket in Centurion, so shoppers find what they came for. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)

• Neat appearance and punctual
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Grade 10 or matric

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Some till or cash-handling experience

• Paid training in store procedures
• Staff discount on groceries
• Chance to move into till or department roles
