Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a hardware and building store in Tembisa needs extra hands. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll be based at a hardware and building store in Tembisa. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Grade 10 or matric
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work

• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Paid training in store procedures
