Job Description

You'll mix, carry, dig and clean up so the tradespeople on a low-cost housing development in Epping can keep building. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a low-cost housing development on the Epping side of Western Cape.

What you'll actually do

Clean tools, mixers and wheelbarrows at the end of each day
Set up barriers, cones and signs around open trenches
Erect and strip shutters and simple scaffolding under supervision
Dig trenches and foundations to the depth the foreman marks
Carry bricks, blocks and cement bags to where the bricklayers work

You'll need

Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather
Willing to start early, often at 06:30
Grade 8 or higher
You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE

On offer

Boots, hard hat and overalls issued on site
Overtime on weekend pours and deadline days
Paid weekly or fortnightly
