Client Service Officer (Municipal Pay Point)

You'll help walk-in customers at an insurance branch in Benoni, face to face, all day. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The site is in Benoni; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.

• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
