Job Description

You'll help a pharmacy inside a supermarket in Mokopane dispense scripts, manage stock and advise patients at the counter. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a pharmacy inside a supermarket on the Mokopane side of Limpopo. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Capture scripts on the dispensing system and check them against medical aid rules
Help customers choose over-the-counter and front-shop products
Record cold-chain fridge temperatures twice a day
Receive stock, check expiry dates and pack shelves first-expiry-first-out
Do cycle counts and flag stock discrepancies to the responsible pharmacist

Must-haves

SAPC registration as a Pharmacist's Assistant (Basic or Post-Basic)
Friendly and clear at a busy counter
Able to work Saturdays and some Sundays on a rotation
Accurate with numbers and careful with labels

Helpful, not essential

Experience with stock ordering through a wholesaler portal
Wound care or family planning counselling short course
