Cocktail Bartender – Permanent

Guests at this wine farm restaurant in Durban Central come back for the people, and you'll be one of the reasons. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is in Durban Central (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
• Refuse service to anyone under 18 or visibly drunk, as the Liquor Act requires.
• Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
• Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
• Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.
• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
• Take orders on the POS tablet and read them back to avoid kitchen mistakes.

• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
