Cocktail Bartender

Good service at a wine farm restaurant in Isando starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a wine farm restaurant on the Isando side of Gauteng. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
• Restock the bar fridges and help with the weekly stock count.
• Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
• Explain specials, allergens and wine pairings in plain words.
• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.

• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus
• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure

• A barista course certificate or latte-art skills
• A second language such as isiZulu, isiXhosa or Afrikaans

• Paid menu and wine tastings so you can sell with confidence
• Late-shift lift home within a set radius
• Staff meal on every shift
