Code 10 Bus Driver (Airport Shuttle)

Steady shift work with a mine shift transport service in Phalaborwa for drivers with a passenger PrDP. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
• Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
• Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
• Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
• Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel

• Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Patient and friendly with passengers
• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
• Medically fit

• Fluent in more than one language
• First-aid certificate
• Experience on mine or staff transport routes

• Paid passenger PrDP renewal
• Tips and trip allowances on tour charters
• Company uniform

• Talk about safety records in the interview. Bus companies want to hear about zero accidents and on-time runs.
• Write "PrDP P valid until" with the date, right at the top of your CV. It is the first thing a bus operator checks.
