Job Description

Passengers in Polokwane trust a mine shift transport service to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is in Polokwane (Limpopo). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What you'll actually do

Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable

You'll need

Medically fit
Punctual for very early starts
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers
