Job Description

Home every night: a building-supplies merchant in East London needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in East London. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Check the load against invoices before signing it out

What you need

Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Friendly and professional with customers
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

Helpful, not essential

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
