Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a beverage wholesaler in Somerset West. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

What you'll actually do

Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops

You'll need

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Honest with cash and customer goods
Friendly and professional with customers
Clean driving record
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

Extra points for

Speaking local languages on township routes
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
Code 14 licence (a step up)
