Job Description

Home every night: a beverage wholesaler in Johannesburg CBD needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Johannesburg CBD, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly

What you need

Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Friendly and professional with customers
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Clean driving record
Honest with cash and customer goods
