Code 10 Driver (Beverage Distribution) – Experienced

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a beverage wholesaler in Secunda. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Secunda, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
• Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
• Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning

• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Honest with cash and customer goods
• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence

• Code 14 licence (a step up)
• Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
• Crane or HIAB operator certificate

• Overtime on month-end and peak days
• Home every night
• Company-paid PrDP renewals
