Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Phalaborwa for a waste management contractor, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Phalaborwa, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

You'll need

Friendly and professional with customers
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

Extra points for

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
