Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Boksburg for a building-supplies merchant, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a building-supplies merchant on the Boksburg side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading

What you need

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Clean driving record
Valid PrDP for goods (G)

Nice if you have

Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
Code 14 licence (a step up)
Speaking local languages on township routes
