Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a building-supplies merchant in Epping. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a building-supplies merchant on the Epping side of Western Cape. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning

Must-haves

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Friendly and professional with customers

On offer

Overtime on month-end and peak days
