Code 10 Furniture Delivery Driver

Customers across Sandton wait on your truck, so a frozen food distributor needs someone reliable behind the wheel. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is Sandton-based, with most of your time spent at a frozen food distributor.

• Check the load against invoices before signing it out
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
• Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
• Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• Clean driving record
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Honest with cash and customer goods

• Speaking local languages on township routes
• Crane or HIAB operator certificate

• Company-paid PrDP renewals
• Overtime on month-end and peak days
• Home every night
• Delivery incentive per completed route

• Name the areas you know well. A driver who already knows the route saves the company money from day one.
• If your PrDP expires soon, renew it before applying. An expired PrDP is an automatic no.
