Job Description

Customers across Fourways wait on your truck, so a building-supplies merchant needs someone reliable behind the wheel. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a building-supplies merchant in Fourways. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly

Must-haves

Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Clean driving record
Friendly and professional with customers
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Honest with cash and customer goods

Nice if you have

Speaking local languages on township routes
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
