Code 10 Tipper Driver (Sand and Stone) – Immediate Start

Customers across Polokwane wait on your truck, so a beverage wholesaler needs someone reliable behind the wheel. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a beverage wholesaler in Polokwane. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
• Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
• Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
• Check the load against invoices before signing it out

• Friendly and professional with customers
• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Honest with cash and customer goods
• Clean driving record
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

• Code 14 licence (a step up)
• Crane or HIAB operator certificate
• Experience on a sales-and-delivery route

• Delivery incentive per completed route
• Overtime on month-end and peak days
• Home every night
• Company-paid PrDP renewals

• Name the areas you know well. A driver who already knows the route saves the company money from day one.
• Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
