Job Description

Home every night: a beverage wholesaler in Soweto needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll report in Soweto. Relocation is not covered for this one.

The work, day to day

Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away

You'll need

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Friendly and professional with customers
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Clean driving record

Nice if you have

Speaking local languages on township routes
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
