Code 14 Car Carrier Driver – Experienced

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a coal haulage contractor in Atlantis pays for. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Atlantis (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
• Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
• Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
• Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
• Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops

• Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
• Passport for cross-border routes
• Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
• Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
• Medically fit, including eyesight
• At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks

• Paid PrDP renewal
• Well-maintained trucks with sleeper cabs
• Monthly safe-driving and fuel-saving bonus
