Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cold-chain logistics fleet in Paarl pays for. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Paarl-based, with most of your time spent at a cold-chain logistics fleet. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What your day looks like

Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot

What you need

Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Passport for cross-border routes
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
