Job Description

You'll move heavy loads between Pietermaritzburg and depots across the country for a long-haul freight fleet. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Pietermaritzburg. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads

You'll need

Passport for cross-border routes
Medically fit, including eyesight
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
