Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a coal haulage contractor in Centurion is hiring. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Centurion, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips

You'll need

Passport for cross-border routes
Medically fit, including eyesight
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence

Clean record on a telematics driving score
