Code 14 Interlink Driver (Cross-Border)

You'll move heavy loads between Centurion and depots across the country for a fuel distribution fleet. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Centurion; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
• Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
• Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
• Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
• Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
• Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
• Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops

• Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
• Clean driving record with no serious accidents
• Clean criminal record
• At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks

• Knowledge of SADC border routes
• Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)

• Paid PrDP renewal
• Provident fund and medical aid option
• Monthly safe-driving and fuel-saving bonus

• Put your licence code, PrDP expiry date and years on Code 14 in the first three lines. Transport managers scan for those first.
• Be honest about accidents or fines. Companies check your driving record anyway and trust drivers who tell them upfront.
